Hiya everyone!!!! "Same crap different week" (Elder Andersen)


Highlights:


-We had a Lil lesson with a Woman named Gertrude and talked about what missionaries do and talked a good amount about faith and how Essential it is. I also talked the whole time so that was fun to "Lead" the lesson!!!!


-Elder Combs Had his "Funeral"(His last District Council) this week and usually the companion reads the obituary(Where the Missionary served and comps) But he didn't want to so Elder Combs asked me to!!!! So I read it and it went really well!!!!


-We try to have basketball nights every Thursday where a ton of nonmembers come and play with us and members and we have a spiritual thought and its really fun!!! This week like 15 non members came and it was great!!!!!


Spiritual Thought:

I'm just gonna do a couple highlights to make it easier to read.  -This week we were knocking some doors and we weren't going to knock on this certain door because last time we knocked she didn't seem very excited that the missionaries were there but she told us to come back later. We ended up knocking and she was super receptive and very grateful for us she said that she asked her kids for a Bible for Christmas this year and they didn't get her one. So we ended up giving her a Bible and a book of Mormon and she said she's been looking for a church to go back to and it was just an amazing experience and we're going to keep teaching her!!!!...

We went to Chipotle in Worcester then we decided to go to the Bass Pro Shop before transfers since it's like 6 min away from the mission office. Me and my comp guessed that there would be maybe one companionship there but there were 6!!! We walked in and saw a big group of missionaries in the store!! And one of them told me I was going to love Plymouth and was kinda confused bc I didn't know him very much and then I looked to his left and it was my next comp!!! Elder Taylor!!!!! He's super fun and I can't wait ...
