Hey guys!!! Sorry for no Email last week, Ima say I was busy but I just forgot...
Highlights:
-Transfers were this week and everything is the Same for me and my Comp.
- We found a Family that seemed super interested in coming to church but forgot to get their number two weeks ago. Soooo last week we went and got their number to text them the address and stuff and they seemed super interested still!!! (They didn't end up coming to church but great experience!!!)
- We knocked on a gentleman's door and he asked "Have you talked to the cops" and we said "No" and he said "You can't solicit here" and we said "We're not soliciting, we're not selling anything" but he said "You still need to talk to the cops" and "I gonna call the Police" and we said "Okay have a great day" and he said "you too". Then after we Knocked for another 20 minutes a less active member opened his door and we started having a conversation with him in his house. I saw through the window the cop drive by a couple times and The Member asked us if we were causing trouble and we explained to him what was happening so he invited the cop inside and we had a conversation and the cop basically said "what you're doing is fine keep doing what you're doing people might call the cops but keep spreading the word of God"!!!!!! That's the third time we've talked to the cops in North Brookfield
- Two weeks ago me and my companion were at the church building at like 8:00 at night and the fire alarm started going off so we called one of the guys in our Ward and then he came by and called 911 and the building wasn't on fire but two fire trucks and like three cop cars came, turns out it was just the wet and dry system!!! (whatever that means)
-The less active member that we knocked on this week came to church on Sunday!!!! He said he normally only goes Christmas and Easter so him coming on February 4th is a big deal!!!
Spiritual thought: this week I read Jacob 5 which is the longest chapter in The Book of Mormon it's the allegory of the olive trees and it talks a lot about the Gathering of Israel and reading it from a missionary's perspective made me think about how I am personally helping in that Gathering and it's the most important work on this Earth today!!!!
